TVM AND MY EXPERIENCE
I know this modality's capability as I have personally experienced it. My first session is one I will never forget. For hours after, I was an emotional wreck. I sobbed and felt so raw which was a feeling I had not felt in years because of my tendency to suppress. I knew immediately this modality was special. It launched my trauma recovery journey, which continues on today.
For me personally, trauma showed up as self-sabotaging behavior, depression, anxiety, too much sugar and alcohol, too little self-care. These left me stuck in many areas of my life, all of them actually. It was frustrating and discouraging. Fortunately, TVM targeted the problem at the level of my nervous system. It gave me hope that I could heal. It proved to me healing is possible.
PAYING IT FORWARD
Today, I am on a mission to share what I have learned and experienced with TVM. As soon I as began to experience the benefits, I knew this is what I wanted to do. I want to help people get back to themselves and flourish in life. To heal from the pain of the past, and make way for the beauty and peace that lies ahead.
Trauma diminishes our joy and energy. It blocks our capacity to feel relaxed, safe, and socially connected. It shows up in all areas of our life and has long-term effects mentally and physically. It does not heal with time. It requires support. TVM can help.
WHAT IS TVM?
The Triple Vagal Method is a science-backed and proven somatic modality that is based on the Polyvagal Theory. TVM is done by stimulating the Vagus Nerve that regulates the nervous system. It helps stimulate the release of oxytocin (a hormone involved in human bonding and co-regulation) and reduces cortisol that left elevated creates chronic stress. It gives the nervous system a reprieve from hypervigilance. It invites it to come home to a place of 'felt-safety'.
TVM supports the rewiring of our nervous system away from chronic flight, fight, and freeze states towards calm emotional resiliency. We do not need to relive our trauma, quite the opposite. We need to know that right here, right now in this moment we are safe. This grounds our bodies, it shifts our trauma. It puts us into the rest, digest, repair and detox state where all healing happens.

WHAT IS TRAUMA? (PART 1)
Trauma is a universal human experience. We have all had experiences that overwhelmed our nervous system and prevented us from completing a fight or flight response. This thwarted self-defense activated our freeze response which left us feeling immobilized, helpless, depressed, exhausted. Trauma is about how our bodies responded to threats, it is not about the threats themselves. Trauma is a biological state.
If we do not know how to resolve the trauma, complete the trauma response, we stay in a chronic state of fear. We feel perpetually threatened (unsafe) and cannot return to a state of relaxation. Over time this wears down our bodies and makes life miserable. This is when we turn to self-sabotaging self-soothing behaviors such as sugar, alcohol, drugs, sexing and texting, etc.
WHAT IS TRAUMA? (PART 2)
Trauma can range from interpersonal abuse, neglect or abandonment to environmental disasters. It comes in all shapes and sizes. Trauma is trauma and most of us have trauma that has left its mark.
Somatic approaches to trauma recovery are often the missing piece in our efforts to heal. It works directly with our nervous system helping shift entrenched fear, threat and overwhelm. It moves us away from distraction, disconnection and dissociation towards safety, connection and presence. TVM is a proven somatic based therapeutic intervention. It helps return our nervous system to a regulated state. This isn't easy, but it is possible.

HOW IT WORKS
TVM is done through touch, strictly for therapeutic purposes. The client will rest on their back usually on a massage table provided.
Throughout the session, I will be working the different lines of fascia and distinct points that store emotions. I will tailor the points to each individual based on an intake form I will send you in advance of our session. This intake form gives me the necessary information I need to provide each client with a specific plan of action.
If at any point a client is uncomfortable or does not want to be touched somewhere I will retreat from that location without any hesitation or questions.
TVM is not usually physically painful although throughout a session it is not uncommon to feel your body jerk or move in unexpected ways, usually that is a very good sign! Sometimes clients will fall asleep in sessions and that is totally acceptable.
The process is not like massage, nor reiki or any kind of energy work. It works directly with the fascia and our nervous system.
MY SERVICE IS MOBILE
My service is mobile. This means I will travel to your home to give you a TVM session. This enables you to be in the comfort of your own space during the session and to remain there after the treatment ends. It is common for individuals to feel emotional, deeply relaxed, or sleepy post-session. Ideally it would be best to book some time off after a treatment to rest an integrate.
If coming to your home is not an option, no problem! You can come to my home where I have a lovely, private room ready for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
HOW LONG IS A SESSION?
A typical session lasts 45-60 minutes. It depends on how quickly the person receiving the treatment can "drop" into a peaceful ventral state (relaxation). Sometimes a client won't drop into relaxation and that's okay too. I will tune into your body and decipher the right time to end the session. Overtime the client will feel more comfortable and drop more quickly. The sessions build on each other.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
Everyone is different but most people see the most transformation around the 12 session mark. Every session will add some level of healing and will be beneficial but the more you do the more you will release and the more your body will learn how to regulate itself (drop into the parasympathetic). For me, TVM will be a lifelong addition to my self-care practice as you can never NOT benefit from a session. You can start with 3 and jump to a longer package based on how your body responds.
WHO IS NOT A CANDIDATE FOR TVM?
There is a list of contraindications that would make an individual unsuited to TVM. Please book a Free consultation BEFORE paying for my services so I can review your particular circumstances. On this call we can decide together if this is the right modality for you. I reserve the right to refuse service and to cancel booked sessions. All cancelled sessions will be refunded in full. Such circumstances would be rare.
DO YOU HAVE A REFUND POLICY?
Your purchase is a final sale. However, you may gift the sessions to someone else if you cannot complete your sessions. If for any reason I cannot complete your sessions, you will receive a full pro-rated refund.

THE MISSING PIECE
"Most people try to work their way out of their problems. They can be doing everything right. Working hard, meditating, therapy, eating right, exercising, etc. Unless you address the nervous system where stored trauma lives, you will only get so far. Somatic work is the missing piece we have all been looking for. It shifts tension patterns at the root level where fear festers and hypervigilance lives. It invites the body to learn to feel safe in small doses. This is where healing happens."
